Caprelous Distillery Quince Eau de Vie 2022

The scent of quince is transportive, elegant and intoxicating. Extremely challenging to work with,

requiring expert care in cleaning and a long, slow fermentaton, our distillation preserves 25kg of fruit in every litre of eau de vie. Quite stunning.

On the nose honey, rose water, lemon zest and peach, very floral and with a beautiful mouth filling perfume. It is pure quince without any of the cooked notes of membrillo. Fresh apples and hints of pear, rose water, lemon zest, soft spicing, white pepper, both sweet and sour, juicy with savoury hints of skin.
