About Cépage
Cépage started with less than 5 clients in the midst of the global COVID-19 pandemic, clients which had followed Harry, the co-founder and wine guy of Cépage from his days at Wiltons Restaurant, in Mayfair. Wiltons is a place to know; in the 1970s, Michelin offered Wiltons 2 Michelin Stars. Wiltons politely declined, explaining that they wouldn’t like to be shown how to cook by people who make car tyres. Michelin never returned. Fast forward a few decades (5, to be precise) and Harry, fresh out of university, deciding to pursue wine as a full-time career graced the tables of Wiltons, tasting and learning about the most coveted, rare, old and fine wines in the world. During his tenure, he served royalty, politicians, celebrities and the business elite with both charm and the utmost discretion, a key feature of Cépage’s private client services today.

Cépage is now a multifaceted wine business, with sommelier ideals remaining at the heart of its services and offering. The word Cépage is taken from the French encepagement, meaning the grape varieties in a bottle, be it a blend or a single varietal. Regardless of whether you’re a novice, keen on dipping your toes into the world of fine wine, a seasoned collector or super yacht owner, the breadth of Cépage’s offering means there is a wine to suit every palate and every price point.
